By registering for and using the PrOOfessor pilot version ("the Service"), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
PrOOfessor is currently provided as a pilot version for testing and evaluation purposes only. The Service may contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected behavior and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without prior notice. The Service is not guaranteed to be production-grade software.
The PrOOfessor pilot program is intended to run for a limited evaluation period of one (1) month, unless extended or terminated earlier at the discretion of PrOOfessor. Access to the Service may be modified, restricted, or discontinued at the end of the pilot period.
PrOOfessor relies on Large Language Models (LLMs) to perform certain analytical operations. Due to the probabilistic nature of these technologies, results may vary between different executions of the same analysis, even when the same input data is provided.
PrOOfessor should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth for translation quality assessment or similar decisions.
PrOOfessor does not store, archive, or retain uploaded documents or text content submitted by users for analysis. Input data is processed only for the duration necessary to perform the requested analysis, after which it is discarded. Temporary processing by underlying infrastructure providers may occur as part of normal system operation.
PrOOfessor does not use user-submitted data to train or fine-tune its systems. The Service relies on third-party proprietary Large Language Models provided by external AI vendors. These vendors publicly state that data submitted through their enterprise APIs is not used for training their models. However, PrOOfessor does not control the internal infrastructure or policies of these providers, and therefore cannot independently guarantee their compliance. By using the Service, users acknowledge and accept this limitation.
During the pilot program, PrOOfessor may collect limited operational usage data related to the use of the Service, including:
Such data is used solely for the purpose of evaluating the pilot program and calibrating future production offerings and pricing models. PrOOfessor may also analyze aggregated usage statistics to better understand typical workload sizes and translation volume patterns. PrOOfessor does not collect or retain the textual content of analyzed documents as part of this usage data.
Users are responsible for ensuring that they are authorized to submit the content they provide to the Service for processing. By submitting content for analysis, users confirm that they have the necessary rights or permissions to process such material through third-party AI systems used by PrOOfessor.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including but not limited to its software, design, underlying technology, and branding (including the name "PrOOfessor"), are and shall remain the exclusive property of IngegnIA snc.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service solely for evaluation purposes during the pilot program.
Users may not:

Nothing in these terms grants the user any ownership or intellectual property rights in the Service.
Unauthorized use of the Service may result in suspension of access and, where applicable, legal action.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy of results, reliability of analysis, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PrOOfessor and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the Service, including incorrect evaluations, business decisions based on the output, data processing through third-party AI providers, or temporary or permanent service interruptions.
As a pilot program, the Service does not provide uptime guarantees, service level agreements (SLAs), or performance commitments. The Service may be modified, restricted, or discontinued at any time.
Users participating in the pilot may provide feedback, suggestions, or usage observations. By submitting feedback, users grant PrOOfessor the right to use such feedback to improve the Service without restriction or compensation.
By registering for and using the PrOOfessor pilot version, you confirm that you understand the experimental nature of the Service, accept the non-deterministic behavior of AI-generated outputs, acknowledge the involvement of third-party AI providers, accept the limited duration of the pilot program, and agree to these terms and conditions.
